Corner Block, Aluminium, Bottom Right, for Swap Bodies
This aluminium bottom right corner block is specially developed for swap bodies and is used in their construction, repair, and modification for road transport.
Unlike standard ISO 1161 corner blocks used on containers, corner blocks for swap bodies feature a different geometry. They are wider than traditional container corner blocks, making it possible to build a swap body with a greater external width than a standard container. At the same time, the corner blocks are designed so that the locking and connection points remain compatible with the standardised dimensions used on transport equipment and chassis. This ensures compatibility with existing handling and securing systems.
The corner block is manufactured from aluminium, combining high strength with low weight. The material is also corrosion-resistant and well suited to demanding environments where a long service life and minimal maintenance are important.

As the material and manufacturing process for aluminium corner blocks differ from those used for steel corner blocks, their properties are not identical, and their strength is not equivalent to that of an ISO 1161 steel corner block.
