ConFoot Container Legs – Unload Containers Without a Crane

With ConFoot container legs, one person can load or unload a container directly from a trailer. This provides greater flexibility during delivery, reduces lifting equipment costs, and makes it easier to position containers exactly where they are needed.

How the system works

The truck chassis is raised using the air suspension system. The ConFoot legs are attached to the container’s four corner castings, after which the chassis is lowered. As the legs make contact with the ground, the weight of the container is transferred to the legs, allowing the truck to drive away.

When the container needs to be loaded back onto the trailer, the process is simply reversed.

Chassis requirements

ConFoot container legs must be used with a truck chassis equipped with air suspension. The chassis must be able to lower the container so that the corner castings are positioned between 1043 mm and 1448 mm above ground level. Most air-suspension chassis meet this requirement.

Tested for demanding conditions

ConFoot has been tested in wind speeds of up to 20 m/s (72 km/h) and complies with the requirements of the European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. The system is designed and tested in Finland.
