Flexible anchoring for precise and stable container placement – even when there’s a gap between foundation and delivery.
The steel structure is ready, the project is moving forward, and containers are ordered.
But there’s one key question left:
How do you ensure stable and accurate placement of your containers – without compromising on flexibility or safety?
That’s where the Breech Base system comes in.
What is the Breech Base system?
Breech Base is a purpose-built anchoring system that allows you to secure containers in a simple, precise, and long-lasting way – ideal for construction sites, modular buildings, offshore projects, and industrial setups.
The system consists of four components that work together:
-
Deck Socket DF-66 – welded to the steel structure or embedded into the foundation
-
Twistlock BF-66 – locks the container safely into the socket
-
Breech Base Cover – protects the socket when no container is in place
-
Spanner – used to easily remove the cover when needed
Key benefits of the Breech Base system
✅ Stability in all conditions
Containers are securely locked in place – even in strong winds, uneven ground, or vibrations.
✅ Full project flexibility
Prepare the foundation well in advance and place the container exactly when needed. Avoid costly delays or rushed adjustments.
✅ Clean and protected installation
The socket stays clean and dry with the Breech Base Cover – even during longer waiting times between installation steps.
✅ Accurate alignment – every time
No guesswork or measuring tape needed. Your container lands exactly where it should.
✅ Fast mounting and low maintenance
No special tools required. Everything fits together and can be reused when containers are relocated or replaced.
Where it’s used
The Breech Base system is ideal for:
-
Modular container buildings
-
Temporary container setups that need to be relocated later
-
Offshore projects with strict safety and precision demands
-
Storage or technical units mounted on steel frames
-
Construction sites that require wind anchoring
