Description
Container leveling feet are used to level the height of containers.
They can either be welded or bolted to the surface.
The smaller top part fits directly into the container corner castings. When the container is placed on top, the height can be adjusted by turning the threaded screw, ensuring the container stands stable and level.
These feet are designed to withstand significant loads. According to the standard, they are capable of withstanding a breaking strength of up to 420 kN (equivalent to approx. 42 tons static load).
This means they can easily support at least 10 tons each. However, it is important to note that in practice a safety factor is normally applied, meaning that for example three feet should be able to support the entire weight of the container.
Short installation guide for container leveling feet:
-
Place the container leveling feet on the surface where the container corner castings will be positioned
-
Adjust the height by turning the threaded screw until all feet are at the desired level
-
Carefully lower the container onto the feet so the corner castings fit into the smaller top section
-
Check that the container stands stable and level
