Description
Domino Clamp is a heavy-duty container mounting bracket designed to securely fasten equipment to ISO-standard holes in shipping containers. It allows installation without drilling or welding, helping preserve the container’s structural integrity.
The bracket is manufactured from high-strength EN3B steel and consists of a front plate with M12 threaded holes for mounting accessories and a clamp plate locked in place using a central high-tensile bolt. The bolt can be tightened or loosened using a 10 mm Allen key, allowing quick installation and removal.
Installation of Domino Clamp
Preparation:
Loosen the central bolt using a 10 mm Allen key until the clamp is ready to be inserted into the container’s side holes (stadium-shaped holes on the long sides and shield-shaped holes on the short sides). Ensure the hole is clean and free from debris.
Mounting:
Insert the clamp into the hole and tighten the central bolt to approximately 35–40 Nm using a torque wrench or manual tool.
Securing Equipment
Once installed, equipment can be mounted to the Domino Clamp’s threaded holes. Always use bolts of the correct length to avoid overloading the bracket or container corner.
Removal and Maintenance
To remove the clamp, simply loosen the central bolt until the bracket releases. To extend service life, keep the clamp clean and lubricate the bolt if it becomes difficult to turn.
