Description
40’ Galvanized platform for container top – safety and functionality at height
This galvanized steel platform is mounted directly on top of a 40-foot container and serves as a solid balcony or work platform.
The frame is ideal for offshore, industrial, and construction environments where safe access at height is essential.
With a non-slip floor, lockable gates, and protective railing, this solution offers both safety and flexibility.
👉 In the pictures, you can see the different types marked as Type 1, Type 2, Type 3 and Type 5.
Type 1 – Double access gates (front and back)
Platform with gates at both ends – ideal when access or passage is required from multiple sides.
The double-gate design makes it perfect for connecting container lines or creating walk-through access on site.
A robust galvanized construction and anti-slip surface ensure stability and safety during use.
Quantity: 1 unit
Type 2 – Open ends without gates
This version has open ends on both sides, but no fitted gates.
The open design allows easy connection between multiple platforms or direct passage across containers.
Suitable for temporary setups where quick access and flexibility are more important than enclosure.
Quantity: 1 unit
Type 3 – Single gate + reinforced center frame
Platform with one gate at one end and a reinforced center frame that increases rigidity under heavy use.
Ideal for areas with high load or where additional equipment needs to be mounted on the platform.
Combines easy access with extra structural strength.
Quantity: 1 units
Type 5 – Single gate without center frame
This version has a single gate at one end – like Type 3 – but without the central reinforcement frame.
The lighter design makes it easy to handle and install while still ensuring safe access and a stable railing.
A good choice for standard work and temporary installations.
Quantity: 1 unit
Optional height extension installation
If additional height is required, we recommend installing a 152 mm height extension on each top corner of the container, secured with a standard intermediate twistlock both at the top and at the bottom. See the last image for reference.
