Description

20′ side door container with flexible access for storage and cargo

This 20′ side door container is a flexible solution for companies that need easy access to stored materials, equipment or cargo. In addition to the standard container doors, the container is equipped with side doors, making it easier to load, organise and retrieve contents without having to work from only one end.

The large side access is particularly practical for storing pallets, construction materials, tools, machinery parts and other equipment that needs to remain easily accessible. The container is therefore well suited as a storage container at construction sites, industrial facilities, storage areas and company premises.

The container is CSC-approved for sea transport and has completed one cargo trip from Asia. As a one-way container, it may have minor scratches and cosmetic marks both internally and externally as a result of transport and handling.

The standard colour is blue RAL 5013, and new containers in black RAL 9005 are on the way. Other colours may also be available either at the same price or at an additional cost. Contact us with your preferred colour, and we will check current availability.

Optional insulation

We can also provide insulation of the container upon request. The doors, sides and roof are insulated with 50 mm Rockwool and finished internally with OSB plywood. Insulation can be beneficial when the container is used for storage or other purposes where improved protection against temperature fluctuations is required.

Please allow up to 14 days for preparation when ordering the container with insulation. Contact us for pricing.

Explanation

To be able to add the specific container variant to the basket, select a color AND a location AND a type of access AND whether there should be a lock box. Ie. that you must select one of each of the 4 to be able to add the specific variant of container to the basket.

What does Quick Access and Ordinary Access mean?

Here you choose between which access you have to the right door, which is the door that is always opened first and therefore is what we call the entrance door.

Quick access means that there is only 1 handle on the right door, and with normal access there are 2 handles. The difference is that on the container with quick access, you only have to open 1 handle on the right door to get into the container.

What does lock box and without lockbox mean?

A lockbox is a steel guard in the middle of the doors. It is welded on one door and a bracket is welded on the other door. Inside the lockbox you can store a padlock. On a container without a lockbox, you can only put a padlock on a door handle.

Note that the lockbox is usually not insurance approved. Insurance companies will usually require a Class 5 lock. Such a lock is mounted separately and does not require a lockbox.
