At first glance, stacking containers seems straightforward. You simply place one container on top of another.<\/p>\n

In practice, however, it is often the last few centimetres that determine whether the operation is completed quickly and smoothly or requires multiple corrective manoeuvres.<\/p>\n

The higher containers are stacked, the more difficult it becomes to see exactly how the corner castings of the upper container align with those of the container below. Limited visibility can result in additional lifting operations, longer handling times and unnecessary strain on both the crane and the equipment.<\/p>\n

Different Stacking Tasks Require Different Solutions<\/h4>\n

When stacking containers several levels high, it is essential to guide the container safely into position, even when the operator no longer has a clear view of the corner castings.<\/p>\n

They are mounted underneath the lower corner castings of the container being lifted and help guide it into the correct position during lowering, making the stacking process faster and more precise.<\/p>\n
