Water drops on the ceiling, damp spots on packaging and rust damage can quickly become expensive \u2013 especially during long-term storage or transport. Condensation removers<\/strong> (desiccants) are a simple way to protect cargo without changing the container\u2019s structure. They can be used alone or as a supplement to insulation.<\/p>\n

What causes \u201ccontainer rain\u201d \u2013 and why do condensation removers work?<\/h3>\n

When warm, humid air inside the container cools down, it condenses on cold steel surfaces and drips down as \u201crain.\u201d Condensation removers trap this moisture in a sealed medium and prevent it from re-evaporating, keeping the relative humidity low. Many solutions are based on calcium chloride (CaCl\u2082)<\/strong> with a very high absorption capacity.<\/p>\n
